I. With our team’s experience in parenting, in education, and in our creative work as artists, these are some questions that we are asking about the situations that the current generation of youths might find themselves in.

1. What problems are Christian children facing today?
2. What are some ways that they could invite God to walk with them through the issues they face?
3. Are the children stressed in their lives at home and at school?
4. Are the children struggling with isolation, anxiety, and mental health issues?
5. What problems at home and at school are they experiencing because of the stresses caused by too much work, or by not fitting in with their age group, or due to mental health struggles, or because of the anxiety they are dealing with, or by spending too much time on social media?
6. Are the children able to focus on God?
7. For most of the day, are they consuming Christian content to help clean their minds and spirits?

II. Our team’s research and reflection led us to the possible answers listed below. We think that these answers might serve as possible resolutions for addressing the suggested children’s problems on a personal level. We hope that you find some of these answers helpful as you support your family’s youths to navigate their own life problems.

We find that in our Christian efforts to surmount distractions that come with the stresses of life, it is helpful to:

1. Read the Bible, focusing on The New Testament, especially.
2. Pray, Pray, Pray, not focusing on asking God for money and things. Rather, focus on building a strong personal relationship with God. Prayer is not talking AT God. Prayer is talking WITH God.
3. Listen to music and creative books that Christian artists composed and produced under the inspiration of the Lord Holy Spirit, music and text that help to calm the mind, trusting God in everything. As the Bible says, in Philippians 4:7, “And the peace of God that transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Holy Bible: New International Version. (1978). Zondervan Corporation).
4. Train your children in developing their God-Focused minds, using these tools, and they will have a better chance of growing and maintaining their Faith when they are on their own, in different social contexts.
5. Nevertheless, Christian families who read our books will find that our writing is sometimes mocked and attacked as being non-Christian; the Holy Bible doesn’t have a flying horse. However, the writing we offer is based on the final battle between the system of God and the system of the beast that comes against Him (Revelation chapters 4-12; 19-22); and the Rider on the White Horse, that we equate to the Lord Jesus, and the character of The Master in our books, leading the Hosts of Heaven in this spiritual warfare. The difference is that the horse in our stories has wings, to make it more interesting to the imaginative minds of young children.
6. Bitney, the Master’s only warhorse is not Pegasus, the flying horse of Greek mythology. Bitney is a Holy Bible Book of Revelation-based main character of our Christian children’s fictional stories.
