TO: Friends of Bitney, in the Service of the Lord Our God

Greetings to you my dear friends, children loved by our Lord Jesus, in the Grace of His Holy Spirit, and in the Life of the Lord Our Holy God Almighty!  Bitney, the Master’s only warhorse has missed you dearly these winter months up here in the Northern Hemisphere of the Earth, where I have been waiting for the Lord’s command for our next war engagement that will turn this epoch into the next one; for the graces of Holy God that lead into our eternal life, as your parents and children’s pastors have been teaching you. Praise the Lord for their wise teachings!

The winters we have spent in the Northern Hemisphere have not been my strongest moments to enjoy life with the Master. Since I was an awkward foal whose legs where too large for a tiny baby horse, in winter, I never left my parents’ side, always cuddling up to their hides, away from the chilly breezes of the season, drawing warmth from my beloved parents.

That was in the Southern Hemisphere tropical regions of the earth, where we could still go out and graze winter green grass on the vleis. Up here, you don’t even see grass, sometimes for up to four months. It can lead a warhorse, who likes to munch on fresh green hay, to be in what I call a great funk.

The Master’s Bride has been a great help since she came to stay the winter with the Master, rather than stay at his summer place on the tropical sea shore with his parents as she often does when he journeys for months in the cold regions, warming the children who have no central heating, and updating implements that will reshape life across the universe in the next epoch. The Master’s wife crocheted a heavy blanket that she places on my back and that keeps me toasty. It helps me to sleep much better.

I haven’t been particularly busy. The teacherly Master’s Bride often reads to me, entertaining stories that make me laugh that she makes up on the spot. She also likes to cook and she brings me carrots and sugar lumps from the grocery store.

Stories are good tools for connecting friends and other loved ones. So, I ask you dear, dear, cherished friends, have you been writing stories for your grandparents? If you haven’t yet tried it, I encourage you to do so. Write stories for your grandparents and read those stories to them. It will make them very happy to see that you care about their entertainment. In this way, you are helping them to stay connected with what you are up to, and so reminding them of the years when they were themselves children. It helps them to stay young at heart. It can also help them be happy as you update them this way on how you are honoring the gifts that our Holy God has invested in you.

Most importantly, share with your grandparents; and with your parents also, your understanding of what the New Testament teaches; and what you say when you talk with God during your daily prayers.

That’s the update from up here my friends. Write me back soon about how your beloved adults receive the stories that you write and read to them. Maybe also learn to crotchet and make them a winter scarf or a small blanket to keep their lap warm when they are watching their favorite Christian TV show.

Dear friends, I miss you and love you in the Lord. I am the big, ginormous, hulking, flying warhorse of the Lord Master, preparing with him, to soon be in the war that will turn this epoch into the next one.

Be happy, supporting each other, praising Holy God for the great heavy work that He is doing, preparing even the mountains, and the oceans, and the rivers, and the deserts, and the forests, and the stars, and the sun, and the moon, and the planets, and the clouds, and the rains, and the winds; and everything across the universe, to enter the new life that will be contained in the new epoch. Our Holy God has so much work to do. Help Him whenever you can. He will let you know how to help when you are sharing your meal with Him.

After an intense, or stressful day preparing for our coming war, I like to clean or refresh my mind by listening to my favorite Christian music artist, Holy Spirit Music. Thus, the song of the month that I want to share with you for March 2023 is titled, “Heal”. You can listen to it here; or by clicking on this link: Holy Spirit Music – Heal

Signing off my friends – in Swahili, Kwaheri; in French, Au revoir; in Filipino, Paalam; and in Arabic, Alwadae! Until next month, that is all for the Children’s Newsletter by Bitney. Say Hello to God, next time you talk with Him in prayer, not talking at Him in prayer.
